FOCUS ON SATURN AND RAHU AND RESTLESSNESS: WHEREVER YOU GO, THERE YOU ARE

EYE ON THE SKY: SATURN, RAHU, AND RESTLESSNESS

Saturn will finally get out of the difficult part of Sagittarius after Nov. 28th but many people are still in transition.  Rahu has shifted into Cancer since Sept. 11th and it is also creating restlessness and a desire to change.  You will find  that big events may happen.  You may suddenly hear from friends that they are moving, divorcing, losing and getting new job or having new health issues come up.  Since Oct. 26th , Saturn has bee  influencing different houses and creating restlessness  and desire for change.  But will the change help?

Saturn is always creating some anxiety and because of sign aspects (rashi drishti) to Pisces, Gemini and Virgo and planetary aspects to also to Aquarius and Gemini and Virgo those signs will be anxious and uncertain. You are going to have to get used to it or drive yourself crazy with wanting to change jobs, relationships, homes, routines.  Change is good but will it really resolve the restless feelings inside?   Handle the restlessness with yoga and meditation and diet and then evaluate more severe changes in the light of common sense when the planets are strongly and when the mind is clear.

One my teachers uses to remind me, that wherever you go, there you are.  Which means that you think you will be happier if you move, change relationships or change jobs but if you do not conquer the inner restlessness, you will never be happy. I had one friend who would go through an expensive change of cities in states 5 years in a row in search of peace, but it was illusive. Conquer the inner demons and then see if those change really will be for the better?

The rule is that Saturn show its influence in the last 10 degrees of a sign and it will not hit 20 degrees Sagittarius until Jan. 2019.  Still that restlessness is  being felt  now also with Rahu in the Aquarius section of Cancer (D-9/Navamsha chart) til Dec. 2nd in the true node system.

When Saturn is unhappy, it tends to be more fearful and creates this sense of dread. When it is solid, it is Capricorn the mountain, unshakable.  You can ground Saturn by being more in your body with walking, the chair pose in yoga, deep knee bends, extra yoga and slow exercise and Tai Chi.  Avoid cold drinks and dry foods and  favor sipping hot water and slowing down and eating hot unctuous meals.   Exercise is grounding but slower is better and running can be intense for many unless you have a really kalpha body or are Taurus rising and need heavy exercise to get unstuck.

An unhappy Saturn can lead to a lot of grumbling so remember to do your gratitude exercises everyday to replace all the thing that are not right with those that are.  (Chair pose below grounds the base chakra to the earth to create more stability.)
