 Visible in Northwestern South America, Western USA, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, Eastern Africa, Eastern Europe.
 This is probably the most significant eclipse of the year as it is total and widely visible. It is said to have an impact within 20 days of where it is seen.
 The Moon is eclipsed in the lunar sign Ashlesha that is represented by a serpent and is connected with poisons and toxins. Emotionally, this is an intense eclipse and I never recommend watching them, particularly if you are Cancer rising. This would be a good time to be deep in meditation.Â
Eclipses are good for meditation and that is the best way to spend time during an eclipse as the meditations can be deeper. Outwardly the emotions and mind get a bit frazzled so never a good time to make major decisions during an eclipse. I usually do laundry or clean or meditate to pass the time. Digestion can be affected so doing a juice fast helps until about 3 hours past the eclipse.
My friend Juliana Swanson of Astral Harmony notes: ““Unusual events involving friends or groups place a great deal of pressure on relationships. These relationship issues may loom large as the eclipse affects the chart. The individual would be wise not to make any hasty decisions since information is distorted and possibly false. This eclipse has the essence of tiredness or health problems attached to it.”
If you are Cancer rising or Capricorn rising, you will notice the impact most. The eclipse is happening at 18 degrees Cancer  so if you have your ascendant or Sun or key planets there within a few degrees, it will also have a huge impact. If you are running a Moon/Rahu or Moon/Ketu period or some combination like that it may have a more manifest impact.
Eclipses reveal our shadow side and we usually get secrets and scandals coming out after eclipses within a 2 week period. With the FBI/CIA scandals bubbling up and all of this happening in the US 8th house the chances of a Watergate type even are possible and it has been bubbling up for weeks in the media and with the secretive Congressional memos.  We wonder how much longer they can keep a lid on the Uranium sales to Russia and the problems in the Department of Justice and the FBI in protecting Hillary.  The last major eclipse in the constellation of Ashlesha in 1999 led to the President Clinton scandals bubbling up. And am sure the press and the powers that be will come up with more accusations toward President Trump also.
The lunar eclipse is falling in the 4th sign of Cancer representing mind, family home, happiness, mother It is connected with emotional heart and sense of security and this could be impacted by confused feelings and fears and paranoia and deception so remember not to pay attention to your thoughts and emotions around the eclipse. They are not real.
