EYE ON THE SKY: DEALING WITH EMOTIONAL GRUNGE AND RAHU
It’s Monday ruled by the Moon and the Moon is at the end of Cancer in the karmic knot where poisons and emotional grunge is floating and not giving a pretty start to our week. The good news is that the moon moves fast so it will by out of Cancer by early afternoon and the Leo gandanta Aries at least has a bit more fire to get stuff moving even if the moon is not really happy there.
The real elephant in the room is Rahu in Pada 4 owned by Scorpio in the constellation of Pushya (Cancer 3.20-16.40). (Note constellations have 4 sections each of 3.20 minutes and they are called Padas) While a lot of the astrology is better in general, I have noticed many people with the emotional unease and anxiety and subconscious fear rising.
If you are Cancer rising or have a lot of planets on the Cancer/Capricorn axis or have moon in the rising sign, you may feel it most.
Rahu is technically debilitated in the Scorpio pada which means it tends churn up all kinds of emotional and psychological garbage that is ineffable and that we cannot get a handle on. This leads to addictive behavior for many which for spiritual people means over-eating or Netflix binging. The key is to get lots of physical activity, meditation and yoga and to be aware of the subconscious fear.  This transit will be over by May 30th in the mean node system and a few days later in the true node system.
Because Saturn is connected to Rahu on the mental level, there is just too much mental fear noise up and you have to be aware of it and tell it to go. Reread our article from Friday on dealing with fear and Saturn.
Mars is strong in Capricorn but it is in a Pisces Pada until the end of the month and Aries and Scorpio rising may feel more emotional grunge up also and will just want to release, check out and let go. Find more time for meditation or exercise.
