SATURN CONJUNCT THE GALACTIC CENTER: UNRAVELING DEEP TRUTHS

EYE ON THE SKY: SATURN CONJUNCT THE GALACTIC CENTER

In the sidereal zodiac, many  people think that the Galactic Center  is about at 3.20-4.00  degrees Sagittarius or about 27 degrees in the tropical system.   In astronomy this is also  the center of the Milky Way galaxy and is a powerful point in the universe.  For those of you not familiar with the galactic center, it is the heart of the Sun and the source of the gravitational energy present in our galaxy. In 1932, Karl Jansky, a Bell Telephone Laboratories engineer, was searching for the source of static affecting overseas telephone lines. To find the source he built the first 95 foot movable radio- telescope to detect it. Part of the static turned out to be created by the center of our Galaxy at 3 degrees of Sagittarius...

MULTIPLE UNIVERSES IN ASTROLOGY: HOW MANY OUTCOMES ARE THERE?

EYE ON ASTROLOGY: SECRETS OF TIMING PART 2

There is a famous movie with Gwyneth Paltrow  called Sliding Doors  (1998) which is not a great movie but it has an important premise for astrology. The movie revolves around whether Gwyneth catches the train or whether the sliding doors close in front of her and she misses the train. In one case she comes home early and catches her boyfriend cheating on her and in the other scenario she does not.

While some karma is very hard and does have to hit us, as we meditate and do good deeds and become more conscious and aware, I think karma comes back more softer and that we are given schools to karma to work out and choices to make...

ASTRO WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD NOV. 26-DEC. 1

SKY WATCH: EYE ON THE SKY NOV. 26-Dec. 1.

Multiple planetary transits the next few days as Mercury went  into Sagittarius on Nov. 24th and moves toward conjunction with Saturn, Venus into Scorpio on Nov. 26th and Mars into Libra on Nov. 29th.  Saturn finally gets happier by Nov. 28th as it moves out the early degrees of Sagittarius.

Mercury stays in Sagittarius until Dec. 10th but because it goes retrograde on Dec. 3rd it will end up back in Scorpio Dec. 10-January 6th.  Mercury is afflicted by Saturn as we wrote yesterday with the conjunction into Nov. 28th and Dec. 6th. The 9th natural sign of the zodiac, Sagittarius,  brings lessons around belief, dogma and blind faith...

MERCURY IN TRANSITION: MOVING TOWARD SATURN INTO NOV. 28TH

EYE ON THE SKY: MERCURY IN TRANSITION

Mercury is at the end of the sign of Scorpio the next few days getting ready to go into Sagittarius on Friday and moving toward conjunction with Saturn into Thursday, Nov. 28th.  This Wednesday/Thursday, Mercury it is in the Scoprio gandanta (Scorpio 27.00-30.00) known as the drowning area of the stinger’s tail where deep psychological and emotional rumbling can well up. Here for Mercury, poor judgment is a problem so with today being ruled by Mercury, you have to careful about decision making particularly if you are Gemini or Virgo rising.

Friday, Mercury goes into Sagittarius and is in the Mula gandanta (Sagittarius 0-3) until Monday the 27th where the haunting from the past beckon us to let go of difficult karma and be patient...

FOCUS ON SATURN AND RAHU AND RESTLESSNESS: WHEREVER YOU GO, THERE YOU ARE

EYE ON THE SKY: SATURN, RAHU, AND RESTLESSNESS

Saturn will finally get out of the difficult part of Sagittarius after Nov. 28th but many people are still in transition.  Rahu has shifted into Cancer since Sept. 11th and it is also creating restlessness and a desire to change.  You will find  that big events may happen.  You may suddenly hear from friends that they are moving, divorcing, losing and getting new job or having new health issues come up.  Since Oct. 26th , Saturn has bee  influencing different houses and creating restlessness  and desire for change.  But will the change help?

Saturn is always creating some anxiety and because of sign aspects (rashi drishti) to Pisces, Gemini and Virgo and planetary aspects to also to Aquarius and Gemini and Virgo those signs will be anx...

MARS IN CHITRA/FIXED CONSTELLATION OF SPICA:

NEPTUNE STATIONARY DIRECT ON NOV. 22ND: DELUSION OR SPIRITUAL ECSTASY

EYE ON THE SKY: NEPTUNE STATIONARY DIRECT ON NOV. 22TH

Planets that are stationary are very powerful and exert much more force a few weeks before and after around their station.  Neptune will have that impact the week of Nov. 20 and through Thanksgiving. It is going stationary around  17.23 degrees Aquarius in the sidereal zodiac  so if you have any key planets or your ascendant there or at 17 degrees Leo or 17 degrees Taurus or 17 degrees Scorpio, you may feel a stronger impact.

Neptune causes life to become confusing and unclear and people believe what is not true.  It is a planet of deception. It can have an ego-denying influence which can make you feel discouraged, undeserving and futile.

Neptune is considered a malefic as it dissolves what Saturn is trying to create in reality...

SECRETS OF RETROGRADE PLANETS: QUIRKY/ODDBALLS/SLOW

EYE ON ASTROLOGY: SECRETS OF RETROGRADE PLANETS

I frequently get questions about retrograde planets and they are often misunderstood because everyone always thinks of Mercury retrograde as being universally bad and that is not true for everyone.  (Mercury will go retrograde Dec. 3rd by the way so get your ducks in a row. )  It is thought if the retrograde planet is the owner of the chart that it become stronger for the person but makes them more inward. The houses, nakshatras and signs that the retrograde happens in the natal chart are key and then in transit if it is in the natal chart, it gets triggered in transit.

Some general things you can say about retrogrades:

The planet’s energy may reverse pulling the energy back into the sign that it is retrograding into.

There are more medic...

INDIAN TIME CYCLES AND MARKET FORECASTING: THE SECRETS OF INDIAN TIMING

Indian Time Cycles and Market Forecasting: Cosmic Timing for Pinning Down Those Illusive Cycles
by Barry William Rosen

It is a little known fact that W. D. Gann went to India and studied Indian Sidereal Astrology. In his notebooks we find sketches of astrological symbols on his charts; and in his memoirs, he discusses his journey to India. In fact, the famous Gann wheel was first used by tea merchants in seventeenth century India.

Gann also discussed the importance of using the starting date of when the first futures contract for a commodity began trading for predicting the future of that commodity...

RELATIONSHIP, ROMANCE, MARRIAGE AND SACRIFICE: THE CHALLENGES OF THE 7TH HOUSE

SECRETS OF THE 7TH HOUSE:

With Jupiter and Venus in Libra now its time for some natural wisdom about relationships and the 7th house.    The 7th house is not always about marriage but also business partnerships and committed romantic relationships. When the love is deep enough, marriage often moves to the 12th house of sacrifice where we give up our personal needs in deep love to create a family.

The 7th house is about learning compromise where two people come together to create something better than each does not have.  My dear friend often noted that a good business partnership is like 2 + 2 not just adding up to 4 but creating a 7.  Its like sine wave amplification where two small waves create something bigger.  What we do not want is a co-sine  wave of negative amplitude...
