MARS/MERCURY LONG CONNECTION TIL JULY 14TH – EXPRESSING ANGER IN A HEALTH WAY

EYE ON THE SKY: MARS/MERCURY CONJUNCTION THROUGH JULY 14TH 

Mars was conjunct Mercury exactly yesterday  and  this conjunction is always messy for anger, disputes, short fuses and accidents if the energy is not expressed.   I dropped a hot water urn on my foot yesterday so be careful. You have to be extra alert and not let the mind get caught up thinking about stuff or feeling angry because accidents happen when we are not focused. Not a good time to multi-task and drive and watch out for the other guy.

This energy peaks into mid-June and a conjunction with Mercury  into June 18-19th will be problematic for potential accidents if you are running a Mars/Mercury period or Mercury/Mars period and are ruled by Mars (Scorpio/Aries) or Mercury (Gemini/Virgo) or Capricorn or Cancer or Scorpio because of 6, 8th and 12th house associations.  Alertness and one-pointed focus can prevent them.    Remember Mars is a bit reckless with the out of bounds energy  (high in declination until June 21st) and can be more wild and reckless so watch out for the other guy on the road, stay alert and do not multi-task while driving.   While the peak of this energy is into June 18-19th,  the planets stay together within  4 degrees until July 14th and with Mercury going retrograde on  July 7th, they will again be in a planetary war on July 8-9th.   .  This can also lead to increasing verbal arguments and fights so stop the car and duke it but do not do it while driving as arguments can lead to accidents of pent of anger is not released.   Good to practice being extra alert now until mid-July.

The affliction to Mars can build up irritability and anger and we have to find a way to let it go.  We need to model ourselves after  kids.  They get angry, they let out their aggression and they may even get into a fight with another kid but then its over and they move on and they do not hold onto it.  As a adults we have been taught that fighting and aggression are bad and we repress it.  Find a way to get to let go of your anger in a positive way.  Scream at the top of your lungs in an empty car or house; take a baseball bat and pound a pillow;  do some exercise or engage in a competitive sport; do some service work and help veterans on a Tuesday or donate to their charities.

When we feel victimized and do not express or act then accidents happen so we can gain sympathy for frustration.  Do not let it get that far.  Find a way to get it out an release it before it gets dangerous.  Aries, Scorpios, Geminis and Virgos are particularly vulnerable now but also Cancers when the two planets move tightly together into Cancer around June 21st-22nd.    Capricorn rising this week with Mars/Mercury in the 6th house will have to be extra careful.

The combination of Mercury an Mars can  can bring up disputes and arguments so remember not to argue in the car and pullover if something starts and drive carefully and watch out for the other guy between now and July 14th  during the most intense part of that transit.  Drive carefully. Be alert for the other guy.

Mars/Mercury causes us to get caught up thinking in our head and hashing over things that people have said and that prevents us from being alert (Mars) and then problems happen.  So focus on one thing at a time. If you are driving, do not talk on your cell phone and multi-task. Stay focused.  If you are exercising or in physical activity, be 100 percent. If you are working with dangerous tools or equipment, do not let the mind wander–stay focused.

The good news is that the conjunction is occurring in the constellation of Purnavasu (Gemini 20-Cancer 3.20) until June 24th so there is some grace from Jupiter coming in to the picture and will be very supportive to get through.  It is moving into a strong section of the zodiac,  Gemini 26.40-Cancer. 3.20 which is know as Pushkara where extra creativity and grace can be flowing.

Mars-related yoga postures can be helpful for developing alertness so doing the Warrior Pose will help and the frog pose will help with low energy from all the stress from the Saturn aspects and Rahu conjunctions.
