MARS IN LEO/REGULUS
Mars is at the deepest point of debilitation today at Cancer 28th and emotionally vulnerable this week at the end of Cancer but moves into Leo on August 8th but is still weak in early degrees until August 9 with the planet in the difficult gandanta area (Leo 0-0.40 degrees) where problems seem tied up in knots and difficult to deal with. Deep karmic suffering can plague the mind if you regret the past too much so let it go. Use the present to act and create new greatness in your life.
Mars in Magha nakshatra can bring out strong leadership qualities and in Leo it is strong to take on the world’s challenges and conquer big problems. Use the fire energy to act boldly and courageously. Mars in the first three degrees (0.3.20 Leo) this week will be in dharma to do great and right action to benefit mankind. Use the energy to help all the people in need and in crisis and there are far too many
Mars will be connected to Ketu on the mental plane now which is conjunct Saturn and that will mentally lead to frustration and will brings up regrets about the past and might lead to explosive outbursts of anger. We have already seen too much of this in the El Paso and Ohio shootings and I am not sure it is going to let up until September.
Mars moving toward the Sun exactly into Sept 2nd makes the warrior exhausted and irritable and with the continued Saturn/Ketu conjunction strong until early October, the Magha transit will amplify frustration and irritability. It at least will bring more energy initially to Mars so we may be able to get moving again. The remedy is too dig deep into Mars’ courage and find the ability to transform and be more in your power over the next three weeks and stay alert while driving and around the house and continue to do the Warrior pose to stimulate the third eye and you sense of alertness. Stay rested so that you are not sleep and fail to see potential problems with the Mars/Ketu connections. With Mars moving withing 4 degrees of the Sun by August 19th you are going to have to find cooling therapies like swimming, avoiding hot and spicy food and drinking coconut water to calm the excessive fire energy.
Magha is in Leo and modern astronomers refer to it as a group of stars called Al Jabha, Adhafera, rasalas, Alterfand. Magha constellation is associated with lions and thrones. The principle star of the constellation is the well-known Regulus know for the seat of power. It means the great and beneficent one, the bountiful one, and its symbol is the throne and connects the constellation to royalty, honor, and achievement. It signifies material success and prestige in the world realm. Donald Trump has Mars in this constellation which has made him a very fierce fighter and with Mars going into that constellation now, he may get more aggressive.
