RAHU IN ARDRA NAKSHATRAÂ SEPT. 27, 2019 TO APRIL 22, 2020 TRUE NODE
SEPT 11, 2019 TO MAY 20, 2020 MEAN NODE SYSTEM
Rahu  transits into Ardra in the true node system Sept. 27, 2019 and in the mean node system on Sept. 11th. . Ardra is is located at Gemini (6.20-20.00) and it stays there until April 22, 2020.    Western astronomers connect it with the constellation of  Betelgeuse in the constellation of Orion, and Sirius, the Dog star.
Ardra is one of the more difficult constellations in the zodiac that creates clarity and emotional cleansing that occurs after the storms of the soul recede. Transits through Ardra bring the tears of Shiva to purify but when the purification is complete, new green shoots can arise. The last major transit of Rahu in Ardra brought 9/11 and the world shed collective tears but not sure we have ever gotten over that tragedy and we have to wonder if the return of Rahu to Ardra will complete the national tears shed with the uncovering of conspiracy theories that will be proved to true.
The primary symbols for Ardra are a human head, representing thinking, and a teardrop, which represents over-coming suffering. It is an excellent rising nakshatra because it reflects brilliant mental abilities such as people like  Einstein.  Rudra, the lord of the storms, will probably kick off hurricane  season with a bang also so listen to the radio more if you live in a hurricane area.
Ardra creates emotional storms of a short-duration if we get stuck in the past and its purpose is to shake us out of our rigidity and to change our life to create a better future. It has the Uranus quality. The storms wash away the dirt and leave us clearer and brighter and shiner and so they have a positive purpose. It ultimately seeks to dismantle whatever level of Maya or illusion we are stuck in. Ardra can scatter mental energies and create confusion to the key will be to find the courage to tackle the challenges and come out the other end of the car wash–squeaky clean.
Rahu is strong in the sign of Gemini and in its own constellation and mental sharpness and intellectual inquiry are enhanced. It creates excellent strategic political energy just in time for the 2020 elections. It can be devious in its ambition to move toward the top and given what we saw in the 2016 elections, we can only imagine a whole new level of hidden and secret intensity happening here. We actually do not want strong malefics as they cause more damage and Rahu in Ardra can stir up trouble.
Rahu tries too hard to succeed and can dominate others intellectual so the key to getting through is transit is to learn to listen and pause and let other people in and not be attached to being right. With all Rahu transits, one has to be aware about one’s blind spots around ambition and succeeding at all costs and one has to be clear not to skirt ethical concerns or one can get into trouble.
Rahu transits can bring luck if you have natal planets between 6-20 degrees of Gemini if they are hit during this transit. It is particularly powerful if it hits your 10th house cusp or your ascendant but it will also it will also still bring a lot of feverishness, anxiety and obsession.
Rahu in Ardra can create intellectual overload so we could easily be bombard by more megabytes of information and this intensity which is happening with the internet age could be come more overwhelming during this time. It creates intellectual prowess.
In the end, we do not want malefics too strong. Jupiter in Sagittarius aspecting Rahu in Ardra from Nov. 2019-April 2019 will soften some the intensity and bring truth –but at what cost to Jupiter?
