EYE ON THE SKY:Â MARS IN TRANSITION
There are good things happening this weekend for Venus ruled signs like Libra and Taurus with Venus moving into Pisces Feb 2nd and Saturn will move out of transition zone of early degrees on Feb. 1st as it gets to 1st degree of Capricorn and gains strength. Minor depression for Venus ruled signs at first with Saturn aspecting Venus with a 60 degree angle (sextile) into the afternoon of Feb. 2nd.  Mercury is in Aquarius and trouble in the constellation of Dhanishta (Capricorn 23.20-Aquarius 6.40) as Mercury and Mars are enemies and it creates arguing but this is a short transit and over by Feb. 4th.    Mars rules Aries and Scorpio rising and they are starting an important new journey and transformation in Feb as Mars gets ready to leave Scorpio on Feb. 7th and move into Sagittarius and move toward Ketu into Feb. 23rd in the true node system.
The end of Scorpio, 27-30 degrees is called the stinger tale and is in the gandanta which literally means drowning. Mars will transit this area in Scorpio Feb. 4-7th  and this could bring out deep karmic patterns if you are ruled by Mars ie Scorpio rising or Aries rising. It can be an intense time for transformation.
The end of Scorpio is about letting go of material and getting read for spiritual transformation in the constellation of Mula. It can be an intense psychological and emotional time. The last degree, 29.12-29.59 is the most difficult part of the journey and it happens Feb 6-7. Here there are deep knots that need to be unraveled for spiritual growth to occur. This can be a place where maximum emotional churning can happen so watch Thursday, Feb 6th. . Stay on top of meditation and yoga here or you might feel very fragile.  There can be a sense of not being supported and this may be connected to siblings as Mars is the significator or karaka for sibling and particularly brothers. Use this transit to work on deep transformational issues.
Mars moves into Sagittarius on Feb. 7th and is in the Sag. gandanta until Feb/ 12th. It is stronger here in the Aries pada (0-3.20 Sagittarius) . Mars has the courage here to to through spiritual pain and do the deep spiritual transformation here.
The constellation of Mula is deeply karmic and can bring about deep suffering if those ruled by Mars are unable to break away from the material bonds and move toward spiritual awakening and Mars stays there Feb. 7-27th. . Hence the first 3-4 weeks of Feb until Mars gets into Purva Shadha (Sag. 13.20-26.40) of Feb. 27th . for Aries and Scorpio require great transformation. Time to take a retreat and do a meditation course or suffer deep emotional pangs and psychological grunge.   It can be a time for breakthroughs and Divine support is there as Jupiter is in Sagittarius and they are conjunct into March 20th.
We always have to watch seething anger and the potential for anger and terrorism with Mars/Ketu and the three degree orb is Feb. 19-Feb. 28th so be careful that time and Mars is conjunct the Dec. eclipse point at 10 degrees Sagittarius on Feb. 22nd and that is particularly a vulnerable time for Mars ruled signs particularly if you are running a Mars/Ketu or Ketu/Mars period. Stay alert and focused.
