MERCURY IN PISCES : FEB 24-MARCH 14 AND APRIL 12-MAY 3^RD

MERCURY RETROGRADE MARCH 5-28^TH IN PISCES AND AQUARIUS

Mercury moves into Pisces on FEB. 24TH  and because of retrograde
motion starting on March 5^th-March 28^th, it will only be in their briefly and then return back into Aquarius March 14-April 11^th.  For the most part, Mercury is retrograde in Aquarius which is better than Pisces.

Mercury’s debilitation will be cancelled by Venus conjunction  in Pisces April 15-May 3^rd so the worst part of the debilitation is probably the first few weeks of March when Venus is not there.  James Braha is fond of saying that cancellation of debilitation is like losing a limb and getting a prosthetic. It helps but it is not like it is normal.

Mercury is debilitated in Pisces which bring out nervousness, being spacey,
depression, too many thoughts and being too talkative. When with Venus in April, Mercury will bring out a more fun-loving disposition where Mercury will enjoy a more creative and imaginative side of business or trade with fresh and original ideas. This is a good time for writers and musicians that may have see the fruits of their efforts
produce a fine harvest later.

Still the word debilitated gets misunderstood. For Geminis and Virgos it may mean lower energy and a need to get more rest and it may create increased mental activity and a restless mind.   Since Pisces is a very spiritual sign, so Mercury’s logical and practical and rational energy can get lost here in pursuing too many philosophical or spiritual pursuits, can be prone to depression or be subject to false Gurus or advisors.

Because of the Venus conjunction, in April,   Mercury’s brighter side will come out it and it  can become more imaginative, involved in humanitarian services, sensitive, intuitive, artistic and deeply mentally probing.  Probably it is more a problem March 5-11^th.

Mercury goes retrograde March 5-28^th  and this may be a particularly
difficult one since it will be hit by a tight Saturn aspect hitting exactly into March 20^th but having an impact March 16-31^st and April 1-10^th as the aspect will be within 2-3 degrees much of the time.  Stay on top of backing up computers and being redundant about communications. Mercury is the trickster,  and in Pisces and when retrograde, he delights in frustrating us with things not working so learn to be patient. Still it can bring out miscommunication and computer issues.

If you have a lot of writing projects to do, get them done before March 5^th and be patient with delays.    Mercury is  debilitated in Pisces because he can get lost in spiritual dreaminess and not pay attention to the logic that runs him. Make sure that your pipe dreams are run through the filter of logic and practicality.

Virgo rising will experience a 7th house transit making relationships difficult
particularly if you are known to have communications issues anyway.  Fuzzy minds are not able to communicate with partners well or learn routines or habits.  Virgos often attract spiritual partners and the conflict between their practical nature and their partner’s emotional nature can be frustrating.

Gemini rising can do better with this transit in April  as it supports status and career
development and March will be better with the exalted Venus conjunction.  Without Venus’s help in March, , Geminis may be not practical and serious enough at work and be too into having fun rather than being responsible.   This can prevent a meaningful sharing of ones skills and lead to frustration.  The key will be to stay focused and responsible and not get lazy or take on too many projects which will scatter energy.
