MOVING TOWARD EMOTIONAL GRUNGE INTO LATE MARCH

EYE ON THE SKY: MARCH 17-31ST

We have a number of troubled transits into the end of the month.  The combustion from Venus will create fatigue for Pisces, Taurus and Libra rising probably until mid-April and there may be a reprieve the week of March 22-29th as Venus will be in the heart of the Sun (Cazimi)  and that will uplift it. Venus is an emotional planet and the combustion can bring up jealousy, manipulative energy, friction in love life, and dampen expansive energy. The exact Sun/Venus conjunction March 22-29th will allow for women to shine and be charming, charismatic, have sex appeal and inspire artistic excellence.  Still if you are ruled by Venus get to bed early and find a way to deal with emotional upheavals with exercise meditation rather than binging on Netflix or eating the extra piece of cheese cake.  Venus gets a sextile aspect (60 degrees) from Saturn peaking into March 30th so the glory of the Pisces exaltation for Venus this year will just not get as much energy as it does between the combustion and the aspect.  Venus moved into Pisces on March 16th.

Mars is moving toward conjunction with Rahu which is exact March 28th in the mean node system but it will have a sphere of influence from March 16-April 3rd.  We have written about this conjunction as it will increase protest and violence in the world and it coincides with a number of lock down protest events.  Already we have seen racial riots on the West coast and more will erupt.   So we have to deal with anger and paranoia.  I often suggest screaming into an empty car or room to release anger or if it is strong, hit a pillow.  Stay away from spicy foods and drink coconut water to keep it calm.  Rahu when it is afflicted can get sub-consciously fearful about things that will never happen.  Usually 99% of the things we fear will not happen in the way we think they will. Given the Covid crisis, it is easy to go to the dark side as new strains of the virus threaten new lock-downs.  Our work clearly shows another wave of pandemic energy strongly hitting Sept-November of this year and we hope that we are wrong but Mars will be transiting into 6th sign of the Zodiac, Virgo, where planets promote health issues and Jupiter will be retrograding back into Capricorn in September until Nov. 20th and Jupiter in Capricorn has been a hallmark signature for Covid along with Saturn there.  The good news is that Jupiter moves into Aquarius on April 5th  and out of Capricorn until  Sept. 14th, 2021 and that may allow a reprieve for a bit.

Jupiter is weak April 1-10th as it changes signs from Capricorn into Aquarius.  Planets at 29-1 degrees of a sign lose strength and for those of you know Western Astrology it is like a void of course Moon.  Still Jupiter when it is weak just gets naive and falsely optimistic and we have been used to that anyway with Jupiter in Capricorn. Jupiter governs the liver for everyone so make sure you take extra care of it with lemon water in the morning staying off of oil and greasy foods.    We will write about Jupiter in Aquarius soon.

At least the Kala Sarpa Yoga in transit is over by March 20th and that will lift things and the moon is at least waxing now until the March 28th full moon in Virgo.  END OF PART 1  ;  PART 2 IS BELOW

PART 2

DEALING WITH EMOTIONAL GRUNGE

There is a lot of underlying tension in the air.   Do we go into a bomb shelter and hide? Most of world will have a few drinks, take some drugs, smoke a pack of cigarettes or eat themselves into a numbed-out stupor.  That can work for a bit but it is destructive and takes you out of your deepest being.  People on a spiritual path binge-watch Netflix or overeat themselves into a stupor.

Why are we so afraid of our emotions?  We have to remember that they are not real and they change quickly and we have to do enough meditation and yoga to witness our mind so that we can free ?  Those  of us on a spiritual path have to go through them. Feel them deeply. The process of feeling them can facilitate their deep release. What are we afraid of? Are we really those stupid feelings or something bigger?  Go deep into them and the attention of your consciousness will facilitate their release.  Feel the depth of these emotions with your full consciousness and you can help

We can always do a bit of spiritual or astrological bypassing and that can help with meditation  too but remember you are so much bigger than your emotions. If a storm is happening,  be  Billy Buddy in Herman Melville’s classic.  Strap your self to the mast and go through it. In the end you will find that your eternal Self is so much bigger than a few waves and in fact you are the waves and you are ocean.  How can you be afraid of the very water that you are made of.    Stay strapped to the mast, whatever storms come, say, I am here and let them come through me.  How can we run away from a tiny emotion?  What power can it really have over us?

Don’t the storms make you deeper and a more powerful person? Embrace them? . Realize that you are unchanging and nothing can touch you. You are invincible. Merge with the water and become One.

So if you are not able to do that you can always do the following:

1) This is a time to be disciplined about your meditation practice and yoga and other spiritual practices because these lighten the burden and give us more strength to deal with everything. The tendency is to skip that which is good for us when we are challenged but that’s like taking off a winter coat when its below zero.
2) Donate time and money to help those in need. This is one way to address karma and by getting out of our own stuff, we feel better and move through our own karma.

3) Be disciplined with diet and exercise. The tendency is to use food to cover up difficult emotions or skip exercise because we feel tired or lazy. So much illness (6th house) can be overcome if we are disciplined doing what is good for us. Avoid addictive behaviors and non-life-supporting actions especially now. The tendency is to what to escape but usually this leads to more difficult problems quickly. Maybe not stay up until 2 am watching 10 episodes on Netflix and get some extra rest.

4) Spend time with spiritual knowledge, attend spiritual gatherings and hang around with positive people at this time.

5) Do transformational healing work to move through these energies.

This current phase will lighten up probably by the 2nd week of April and Jupiter will get strong and Venus will move away from the deepest point of combustion and Mars will get far enough away from Rahu to prevent serious flare-ups of anger.
