Astro-Weather for FALL 2025
A Guide for Planning and Awareness
While I do not focus heavily on geopolitical prediction, it is still important to understand the astro-weather for 2025—especially for planning vacations, weddings, and anticipating periods where challenges may be stronger. How these transits will affect you personally depends on how they interact with your dashas (planetary cycles), natal chart placements, and even the broader influences of your country.
Below is a quick guide to the major planetary events for the rest of 2025.
Key Highlights
Eclipses in 2025
-
Sept. 7, 2025: Total Lunar Eclipse at 20° Aquarius
-
Sept. 21, 2025: Partial Solar Eclipse at 4° Virgo
Eclipses are most significant if you are running Sun/Rahu, Sun/Ketu, Moon/Rahu, or Moon/Ketu dashas, or if they fall on sensitive points in your chart. The houses owned by Aquarius, Virgo, and Leo will feel the strongest impact. Usually nothing to fear unless there is a direct hit of a key planet at the eclipse within 1 degree and you running some level of a Rahu/Ketu period.
October 2025
-
The last few weeks of October appear difficult, as the Sun moves through the weaker section of Libra, which can lead to low energy, health concerns, and depression. I find that Oct. 23-30th is always the most difficult time for everyone.
-
Venus in Virgo (Oct. 10 – Nov. 2) adds to the tension. Its debilitation is canceled by an exchange with Mercury in Libra until Oct. 24, but the final week of October remains challenging overall into the first few days of November.
November 2025
-
Mars enters Scorpio in November, strengthening energy and providing support for Mars-ruled signs such as Aries and Scorpio.
-
Jupiter remains sandhi (on the edge between signs) at 0° Cancer to 29° Gemini from Oct. 16 – Dec. 15. This placement can bring false optimism and fatigue, particularly for those ruled by Jupiter, though overall it still provides some underlying strength for good judgment and spiritual and religious activities.
-
Venus in Libra (Nov. 3 – 27) restores balance, smoothing relationships and easing the roughness left from Venus in Virgo during October.
-
Mars combust: From Nov. 6 – Mar. 26, Mars is combust (too close to the Sun). This influence becomes more problematic from mid-December through mid-February, often manifesting as fatigue, adrenal strain, anger, and flare-ups.
-
Mercury is strong in Virgo and Libra (Sept. 16 – Oct. 24). However, from mid-October until Nov. 16, it becomes too close to Mars, leading to arguments, quarrels, accidents, and communication difficulties. Once Mercury retrogrades back into Libra after Nov. 16, this pressure lifts.
-
Saturn stationing: From Nov. 20 – Dec. 6, Saturn is stationary at 0°, which intensifies challenging Saturnian energy during this window increasing suffering and grumbling and delays.
December 2025
-
By mid-December, the energy lightens for the holidays as Mars, Venus, and the Sun move into Sagittarius, bringing more optimism and festive cheer.
-
However, Mars remains weakened by its proximity to the Sun, creating underlying fatigue and irritability even as the general mood improves.
Closing Thoughts
Overall, late October and early November 2025 appear to be the most challenging periods, with overlapping planetary tensions. Relief arrives as we enter mid-December, bringing brighter and more supportive energy for the holiday season.
How these influences manifest in your personal life depends greatly on your individual chart, your dasha periods, and other karmic factors.
