JUPITER IN ARIES–GUIDE TO TRANSIT BY RISING SIGN AND MOON SIGN

JUPITER IN ARIES:

TRANSITS OF JUPITER BY RISING SIGN OR MOON SIGN 2023-2024

Jupiter will enter Aries on April 21st and remain there until May 1, 2024.

In Vedic astrology, transits are often counted from the Moon because they impact the mind and emotions the most, but transits from the ascendant are better at predicting material existence, and even transits from the Sun should not be ignored for their impact on career and the material world.

Natural malefic(s) such as Rahu, Mars, Ketu, or Saturn in a natal Aries chart, and when or if such malefics are aspecting Aries,  then one could consider that some of the positive impacts of this transit may be spoiled particularly when the influence is within five degrees of the said natal planet.  Consequently, our guide below addresses some of the positive and negative considerations of this transit.

Also, planets in transit will impact Jupiter and its results.  When malefics such as Rahu impact Jupiter strongly such as mid-May to mid-June,  the darker side of the transit may manifest.   Also, Saturn throws a full 60-degree aspect to Jupiter into June 19th and it will also afflict Jupiter.   But for the most part, this transit is unafflicted throughout much of the year.

Transits of Jupiter will be more pronounced if you are in a Jupiter Dasha period or those who are a Pisces or Sagittarius ascendant/rising, Moon or Sun sign.  The number of Bindu points in Aries will have a positive or negative impact respectively. Those with the transit of 4 bindu points or above will experience higher energy; conversely, 3 or fewer points suggest impending challenges.

There are a group of perplexing planets for each rising sign: note that Jupiter supports Cancer, Leo, Pisces, Aries, Scorpio, and Sagittarius rising or moon signs but can generate over-optimism, too much munificence and bad judgment for Libra and Taurus rising natives. Jupiter is not always helpful toward Capricorns, Aquarius, Geminis, and Virgos conferring hidden blind spots around relationships, work, group activity, and family.  Jupiter always feels good and is welcome over Saturn’s intensity but he may create problems. Aries rising will have to avoid over-eating and stay on top of the exercise to avoid weight gain. Fire signs such as Aries, Leo and Sagittarius should feel positive for most of the year influenced by optimism and good cheer due to the trinal aspect of Jupiter.  When Jupiter goes Retrograde Sept. 4-Dec. 30th, it will be more powerful to cast a positive glance but there are always problems with retrograde planets.

Aries Rising or Moon signs: 1st house transit

This transit deals with the expansion of the self. If you do not have any malefic planets like Mars/Rahu or Saturn in the 1st, this transit creates optimism, comfort, and confidence. Your energy will be on the upswing! Good opportunities in a business partnership and relationships should come your way and your health should be stronger. You may be attracted to personal philosophies and new wisdom as well as being drawn toward teaching, coaching, and consulting.  You have to watch your weight as Jupiter expands whatever sign it transits through.

If you have a malefic in Aries or aspecting Aries in your natal chart,  then be careful of being falsely optimistic without checking all the facts. Do not neglect responsibilities and avoid being lazy or over-extravagant. You may have problems with weight gain if you eat too much so cut down on sweets.

Taurus  Rising or Moon signs: 12th house transit

This is a 12th house transit for Jupiter and if there are no afflictions to Taurus by malefics you may re-examine a quest for enlightenment with an enhanced desire to experience spiritual pilgrimages to places such as India, Peru, or other introspective travels. This is a good time to take a retreat, perform seva, serve through service and karma yoga works, donate to charities, and engage in efforts toward surrendering and sacrifice including devotion toward children.

It’s a good year to spend at the ashram if you are drawn to such work. Jupiter may support you in overcoming secret enemies, acknowledging your blind spots; overcoming debts and enemies. It’s a great time for counseling and unwrapping deep layers of the psyche.

If Aries is afflicted by natal malefics aspecting or in your 12th house, then you may experience worry about doing too much service work and getting exhausted. You may be subject to unexpected expenses, or fines. Deep subconscious patterns may be coming up to heal – deal with them while diligently avoiding your addictions or sexual obsessions.

Gemini Rising or Moon signs: 11th house transit

This is a good year for Jupiter if it is not afflicted, as support from friends and groups will prosper. Cash flow should be better and it’s a good year for fulfilling your desires and developing consciousness. This is a good time for networking as the support will be there.

If Aries is afflicted by malefics in your natal chart or in transit, this is not a good time to lend money to elder siblings or friends unless it is a gift and you are not in a hurry to get it back. Malefic aspects to the 5th could lead to bad investments in get-rich-quick schemes so do your due diligence and check things out carefully. Avoid overindulging and overspending.

Cancer Rising or Moon signs:  10th house transit.

This is a 10th house transit of Jupiter and if unafflicted it will increase your status in your life and be an opportunity to network with successful people and expand your position at work. You may find an increased appreciation for your work and it will be a good time to take up teaching, coaching, and consulting. Take time to evaluate your work/life/home balance to make sure it does not get out of control.

If Aries is afflicted in your natal chart by malefics Saturn, Ketu, or Rahu, your reputation may take a downward slide especially if you are not on top of your responsibilities. Do not get lazy or overly cautious – jump at opportunities or they might pass you by! Stay busy to avoid boredom.

Leo Rising or Moon signs: 9th house transit.

This transit brings knowledge, fortune, spiritual knowledge, and a love of travel. It’s a good time to visit your father or Guru or to teach and work on that book you want to publish. You are victorious in legal matters. It may be time to join a new spiritual group, a meditation circle, or a group at church. Take time to make new spiritual connections that enrich your life.

If Aries is afflicted in your natal chart by Saturn, Rahu, or Ketu, watch your finances and avoid getting lazy about spiritual practice. Pay attention to children and don’t let opportunities to spend time in spiritual knowledge pass you by!  Watch your children and keep them healthy to prevent illness. Stop being so hard on yourself and your progress in life. Mental afflictions could be increased. If you get caught up in people pleasing and not expressing your truth, you might end up in limbo in the never-never land of “Everything is FINE.”

Virgo Rising or Moon signs: 8th house transit

This could be a year where an unexpected positive windfall could come your way through inheritance, lottery, or insurance. It is a great year for doing research and there is support to get through difficult health problems.  Build up your spiritual reserves.

If Aries or Scorpio are afflicted then there could be a lack of financial support or discipline; pay more attention to your children and their problems and their health.  Make sure to eat properly and stay cheerful despite what emotional grunge may arise.

Libra Rising or Moon signs: 7th house transit

This could be a favorable year for new business partnerships and the call for marriage.  If Venus, the karaka for marriages is in natal Libra, it would particularly promote marriage.  Some good work travel will benefit you. Rely on diplomacy to be successful.

If you have afflictions in your natal chart to Aries or Libra, there is a lot of waffling back and forth before big decisions are made in connection with the partnership. Finish business transactions and do not leave a lot of loose ends. Don’t delay in making trips; find a way to be decisive about mates, and seek sound advice from professionals.

Scorpio  Rising or Moon signs: 6th house transit.

This year could support wisdom around being of service and inspiration toward getting your health together with concentrated discipline. If there are legal messes in progress, they may finally go your way. Focus on getting your health together with a good diet, exercise, and routine.  Difficult co-worker relationships may finally clear up if you are honest and speak the truth about how you are feeling.

If you have natal malefics in Scorpio or Aries or when Jupiter experiences affliction by Rahu in May or June,  there could experience of health issues.  Aries is connected to the head so there could be problems connected to too much kalpa or mucous if you eat too much dairy or cheese.  If you are lucky, a great doctor may appear to finally help you with any health-related issues. Be frugal with financial matters and watch your children’s health; ensure they are disciplined with diet.

Sagittarius Rising or Moon signs: 5th house transit

Jupiter is transiting your 5th house enhancing romance, children, creativity, and spiritual initiations; go on that spiritual retreat and get on match.com if you are looking for a romantic partner. Classically, Jupiter transiting the 5th house can also bring children so if you want to get pregnant, the gods may offer support this year. You would have to be running the proper dasha and also have a natal aspect to Jupiter.  It’s a good time to grow investments.

While Scorpio experiences affliction from malefics in transit  in May 15-June 15 or if malefics are tenanting Aries in your natal chart,  be cautious with investments, and make sure you are not neglecting your children. Discriminating and reserving while getting into a new romance can prevent a broken heart as over-optimism could lead to making bad decisions.

Capricorn  Rising or Moon signs: 4th house transit

This is a good year to continue your education, buy a new home or remodel it, get a new car, or mend relationships with your mother. It’s a great time to heal family wounds.

If Aries is afflicted via any malefics in your natal chart or due to transits in May/June 2023,  then be careful with home repairs, make sure you get a good contractor and do not delay in any home or car repair that is needed. Be mindful of the maintenance of your car. Work on your family relationships and be particularly kind to your mother.

Aquarius Rising or Moon signs:  3rd house transit

This is a good year for writing, self-expression, acting, speaking, and taking up a new musical instrument. It’s a good time for marketing and enjoying new neighbors or spending time with your younger siblings.  Ideally, Jupiter in Aries transiting the 3rd House would enable you to undertake beautiful new projects involving communication –  a new blog, book, or album.

If Aries is afflicted in your natal chart, you might feel lethargic and lazy about starting new projects. Younger siblings might have problems and may require financial assistance; make sure you have a clear plan to get repaid. Be diligent around indulgences and avoid too much play and partying and not enough emphasis on spiritual knowledge and regulation. You may be drawn into too many sexual adventures that rob your vitality.

Pisces Rising or Moon signs: 2nd house transit.

This year is a time to focus on increasing money, wealth, and assets. It may be a good time to buy gems and jewelry. It’s a good year for expanding and healing family and doing consulting work. Remember that Jupiter represents increases as well as excesses.

If afflicted then do not be careless with money or over-spending on luxuries or over-eating. Does something here need to be re-balanced?
