SUN IN PISCES/REVATI: MARCH 31-APRIL 12TH–SPIRITUAL AWAKENINGS

EYE ON ASTROLOGY: SUN IN REVATI (PISCES 16.40-29.59)

The Sun finally moved out of Saturn’s influence today and into a new constellation and it should lighten and support our spiritual journey.  The constellation of Revati located in Pisces (16.40-29.59)  is a very satvic or pure constellation in the 12th sign of the zodiac connected to spiritual completion. If you have your Sun in Revati and were born between March 31-April 12th, you tend to be gripped with Piscean idealism wanting to be  your own man or woman and create your own world.  You may have unrecognized talents that need to be expressed by becoming a great teacher or coach and passing them on to others.

The Sun is happy in Pisces but it is 8 houses from its home in Leo and people born with that rising sign are still going through deep spiritual transformations particularly now during the 9 days of Mother Divine as the soul begins its journey.   The first part of the transit (March 31-April 2nd) is in the section of the constellation ruled by Sagittarius where the happy-go-lucky and deep philanthropic side of the constellation dominates so a good weekend for service and charity work and giving to others but watch out for fanatical espousing of religious beliefs.   April 3-9th, it moves into sections connected to Saturn where one has to watch blind ambition at work or in humanitarian pursuits. The final part of the transit April 10-12th is where dreaming and fantasy kind lead to impractical decisions and if you are born in this part of the sky, you have to be particularly careful about money and money management as this is something that Pisces often need to learn.

The Sun is also channeling Mercury’s energy the next few weeks and Mercury is still a bit afflicted by Mars and being connected with Ketu so managing money carefully will be an issue and avoid being too clever and complicated.  This is the final part of the Sun’s journey as it prepares to move into its sign of exaltation in Aries, April 13th-May 14 and shine in its Divine glory. President Trump is ruled by Leo and this 8th house transit for him continues to be difficult as deep karmic issues surface but should do better after April 13th.   End of Part 1.  Part 2 below.

MORE ABOUT REVATI:

The famous Pisces fish represent the fish swimming its path in the sea is connected to life-path and the path to liberation but it is more as it is connecting to the universal mind and reminds us of the true meaning of Jai Guru Dev, Victory to the Big Mind.  Only by letting go of our small ego and surrendering to the Divine will, do we stand a chance of transcending the changing world.

The diety of the constellation is Pushan, connected to the Sun, who lights the paths to the Divine and is connected to travel whether mental journeys or spiritual pilgrimages.  Both are the same.  As Saul Bellow’s character in Henderson the Rain King proclaims, “all travel is mental travel.”  Hence our outer quests are part of our inner quest to return to the Divine.

Revati is ruled by the planet Mercury and contains all the Divine wisdom that exists in the Universe as it allows one to understand the possibilities of the entire creation.  Hence as we get the spring transits through Revati and creating great yogas with Jupiter in Virgo aspecting Pisces, we should get a deep awakening of spiritual knowledge and a great time for spiritual journeys with a peak of this energy probably felt the next two Sundays on April 2nd and 9th with Jupiter aspecting the Sun 180 degrees.

This should lighten the heavy Saturn transit that will not relent this year and provide spiritual upliftment this spring with transits. Venus going back into this constellation  May 12-30th will give us the final spiritual upliftment of the spring  .  Use these transits to contemplate and discover the infinite nature of the Divine and begin new spiritual journey–both inner and outer.

The Sanskrit name for Mercury is Buddha (the enlightened one) and Mercury’s sense of humor reminds us that the journey to the Divine does not have to be a heavy and serious one but can be filled with tricks from the Guru and laughter.  Still Mercury cannot lead us to the Divine without Jupiter the Guru.  With  Jupiter in Virgo (Mercury’s sign) and all the planets transiting through Mercury’s constellation in Pisces, the strong connections will foster the blending of spiritual awakening if search it out. Use these spring transits  to deepen your search for the mysteries of the universe, beyond the craziness of political nonsense so that you can find lasting peace.

Special thanks to Prash Trivedi for his insights into the wonderful constellation and to all my Gurus that continue to light the path.  Blessing to you all going into the weekend.
