SATURN INTO SAGITTARIUS PART 3: CHANGE IS INEVITABLE

EYE ON THE SKY: SATURN IN TRANSITION PART 3

When Saturn shifts houses ie Jan. 27th,  I find that big events may happen.  You may suddenly hear from friends that they are moving, divorcing, losing and getting new job or having new health issues come up.  After Jan. 26th, Saturn will be influencing different houses and creating restlessness  and desire for change.  But will the change help?

Saturn will be anxious and uncertain  most of the year into Thanksgiving 2017. You are going to have to get used to it or drive yourself crazy with wanting to change jobs, relationships, homes, routines.  Change is good but will it really resolve the restless feelings inside?   Handle the restlessnesss with yoga and meditation and diet and then evaluate more severe changes in the light of common sense when the planets are strongly and when the mind is clear.

If we have time we will have to do a chart on how each sign will be affected but know that the desire for big changes will come and evaluate them with common sense–preferably when the moon is not afflicted and Mercury is direct after Jan. 8th and before Jupiter goes retrograde on Feb. 9th.

Saturn will exert its most influence next year through Thanksgiving because of being in the Gandanta area (Scorpio 27-Sag. 3) but then may settle down. The rule is that Saturn show its influence in the last 10 degrees of a sign and it will not hit 20 degrees Sagittarius until Jan. 2019.  Still that restlessness is  being felt  now with Saturn in the last 10 degrees of Scorpio which has been influencing us since Oct. 29, 2016.

When Saturn is unhappy, it tends to be more fearful and creates this sense of dread. When it is solid, it is Capricorn the mountain, unshakable.  You can ground Saturn by being more in your body with walking, the chair pose in yoga, deep knee bends, extra yoga and slow exercise and Tai Chi.  Avoid cold drinks and dry foods and  favor sipping hot water and slowing down and eating hot unctuous meals.   Exercise is grounding but slower is better and running can be intense for many unless you have a really kalpha body or are Taurus rising and need heavy exercise to get unstuck.

An unhappy Saturn can lead to a lot of grumbling so remember to do your gratitude exercises everyday to replace all the thing that are not right with those that are.  (Chair pose below grounds the base chakra to the earth to create more stability.)
